Welcome to Elkins Motors, established in 1969, this family run business has moved with the times and vehicle advances, building up to a team of 17 staff of which together help run our four branches of vehicle workshops and MOT stations. They are Locks Heath Garage, Stubbington Motors and Elkins Motors and now Solent Airport MOTs.

Twelve of the fully qualified technicians have been trained within the company from apprentice levels, proving they are happy well managed workshops, with minimal staff turnaround.

3 of Our Garages provide onsite MOT testing, which is fast, efficient and accurate giving you peace of mind that once you are presented with your MOT certificate, your vehicle is in optimum condition with respect to DVSA specifications.

The company proudly offers FREE collection, delivery and local recovery of your car or light commercial vehicle for all types of work that you may require (Charges apply for specialist recovery or in cases where a low loaded is required). We can carry out all work required from an MOT or interim service to full engine, clutch replacement or even gearbox repairs.

We also specialise in auto electrics, modern diagnostics, DPF and turbo cleaning and full air conditioning re-gasing, servicing and repairs.

All of our MOT stations pride themselves at being at the top of DVSA’s ‘Green Light’ category, meaning that you will be bringing your vehicle to a very low risk MOT station! This means the chances of problems arising from your MOT test being far less than at a MOT station who’s risk assessment has classed them as in the amber or red categories.
